FootballGloves.co.uk is the football side of Purple Imp, a Dundee digital agency that has been doing a lot of sport since 2016.
Why “gloves”?
Because the keeper’s job is the one nobody notices until it goes wrong. That’s the job we do for clubs: the hosting, the updates, the email that has to arrive, the certificate that has to renew, the match centre that has to be right at five to five on a Saturday. When it works, you shouldn’t have to think about it.
A great agency that does a lot of sport
We’re not a sports-only shop. Purple Imp builds for tourism, law firms, shops and start-ups too, and that breadth is useful: club shops borrow from ecommerce, match centres from data work, sponsor pages from marketing. What’s different about football is the rhythm — the Saturday spike, the volunteers, the committee that changes every summer — and that’s what we build around.
